Upon arrival at the store, our experienced team will welcome you. We’ll provide a brief but essential induction, covering the tours itinerary, and most importantly, a discussion about our company’s mission and the direct impact your contribution makes through our local partner organisations.

Once the induction is complete, we’ll head out! You will be comfortably transferred by vehicle from our store to the starting point of the Eco-Soap Bank factory visit.

• Duration: The transfer takes approximately 20 minutes as we head to the outskirts of Siem Reap city.

You will embark on a guided tour of the Eco-Soap Bank facility, learning about their inspiring mission to tackle health, environmental, and economic challenges through soap recycling. You will witness the full, innovative process firsthand, from transforming soap waste and scraps into new bars of soap for communities in need.

The highlight is the hands-on soap-making session where you’ll work alongside the incredible local women who power this social enterprise. This interactive experience allows you to contribute to the mission while gaining a deeper understanding of sustainable economic empowerment.

As your dedicated tuk-tuk driver navigates back to town, your guide will make stops at various local points of interest. These informal sessions are designed to share a deeper understanding of local Cambodian life, the challenges related to plastic pollution and waste management, and, most importantly, the simple, positive solutions that tourists and individuals can adopt to be part of the solution.

You’ll return to the Ripple Effect Rides store having not only contributed to a great cause but also armed with the knowledge to make sustainable choices throughout the rest of your travels.
