RIPPLE EFFECT RIDES
We proudly support PLF's mission to ensure equal educational opportunities for impoverished students.
Believing education is a fundamental human right that every student deserves, regardless of their background. PLF works to break down the many barriers that impoverished students face in accessing school - empowering them to break cycles of poverty, uplift their families and transform their communities.
ABOUT PLF
The Ponheary Ly Foundation works closely with local communities, schools, and families to address the unique challenges students face. By collaborating with local leaders and educators, they tailor their programs to the specific needs of each community, filling the many gaps in the public school experience, and ensuring that every child has the resources and support they need to thrive.
Their initiatives span from the primary grades all the way through high school, and into vocational training and higher education scholarships, giving students the skills they need to succeed in both academic and professional fields.
The foundation’s work is rooted in the belief that education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty. By investing in the education of young people, the Ponheary Ly Foundation prepares them for academic success and meaningful employment, and also empowers them to become leaders and changemakers in their communities.
Education is key to developing future democratic leaders, eliminating poverty, and improving the health and well-being of both rural and urban communities. Recognizing that access to education is connected to various social challenges, their work takes a holistic approach, addressing nutrition, transportation, healthcare, housing, and school infrastructure projects like providing electricity and clean water. They believe that for children to succeed in school, they need food security, stable housing, reliable transportation, and access to medical care—basic supports that every child deserves, everywhere.
