Join us for our next Community Ride—a meaningful adventure supporting our incredible partner, Beautiful Life Organisation!

• Location: Ripple Effect Rides store in Kandall Village
• Cycling Distance: 18.5 km bike ride

What to Expect: 

We’ll embark on a short and pleasant tuk-tuk ride out to the Beautiful Life Organisation’s ‘A Place to Be Yourself’ (APTBY) drop-in space.

Once there, you will enjoy an exclusive, insightful tour of the NGO. You’ll learn first-hand about their impactful work, their programs, and the vital support they provide to local LGBTQIA+ individuals. This is a chance to hear directly about their mission to create safe spaces where everyone can feel comfortable, included, accepted, and celebrated.

After the visit, we’ll hop on our bikes for a beautiful 18.5km cycle. We’ll ride along the Siem Reap river, all the way up to Phnom Krom, where we will enjoy a scenic stop to refuel with snacks and refreshments. Following this, members of the group who would like to challenge themselves will get the chance to cycle up Phnom Krom mountain, while the others can enjoy a leisurely circuit around the flat base, taking in the views of the surrounding villages.

To conclude the ride, the riders will regroup and cycle 6.5km back to Wat Atvhea, our ending location of the tour. Those that want to cycle the additional 4.5km back to town will have the chance to ride with our crew back to the store.

Our Purpose:

The goal of this day is to raise vital funds and awareness for the incredible work Beautiful Life Organisation does. They are on the frontline, advocating for equality and providing essential services, especially free professional counselling to support the mental health of LGBTQIA+ individuals facing discrimination and isolation

Many LBTQ+ individual in Cambodia face severe emotional and physical violence from family members, and a significant percentage have considered suicide due to rejection. Your support provides a lifeline.

We hope to reach a goal of funding 10 hours worth of professional counselling sessions, giving individuals the support needed to navigate challenges and thrive.
